Rimu Scotch Chest Restoration

For at least 40 years, this chest had been in the tractor shed. It had housed a number of items during that time and had obviously been targeted by numerous families of birds nesting above it. This was a huge job with challenges generated by borer and a high amount of wear on the drawers and runners. There were components missing and some damaged beyond repair. This really did become a labour of love. I think you’ll agree it was a journey worth taking.
